Dave Matthews Band Tickets

Dave Matthews Band is an American jam band, originally formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991 by singer and guitarist Dave Matthews. The Dave Matthews Band released their debut album, Under the Table and Dreaming, in 1994 with hits "What Would You Say" and "Ants Marching". This and follow-up album, Crash brought the band national attention.

Dave Matthews Band Tickets Continued

The Dave Matthews Band consists of Dave Matthews (guitar, vocals), Stefan Lessard (bassist), Leroi Moore (plays a wide variety of instruments from the saxophone to the flute), Boyd Tinsley (violin) and Carter Beauford (drummer) - all of whom Dave Matthews met in Charlottesville. Since 1998, the band has performed at most of their shows with keyboardist Butch Taylor, although he is not officially a member of the band. Moore, Beauford, Tinsley and Taylor also do back up vocals.

Dave Matthews Band returned to the studio in March 2006 before embarking on their annual summer tour. Performers feautred on the tour include Sheryl Crow, G. Love & Special Sauce, O.A.R., Gomez, Umphrey's McGee and Gov't Mule.
