John Mellencamp Tickets
John "Cougar" Mellencamp is a rock legend with a grammy award, twenty three albums and an upcoming Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction under his belt. Mellencamp started his career in 1975 with his album "Skin it Back", but is most famous for his 1985 record "Scarecrow", which is considered one of rock and roll's classic albums.
John Mellencamp's music incorporates a heatland and roots rock style, popular with many of the great rockers of his generation, such as Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty. Mellencamp will be officially united with these and other legendary rockers in March, when he is scheduled to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of fame-the ultimate rock and roll honor.
In 2008, John Mellencamp successfully released his twenty third album, "Life, Death, Love and Freedom" and continued his international tour, which included dates in Canada and New Zealand.

John Mellencamp Tickets Continued
John Mellencamp released his breakthrough album, American Fool, in 1982. The hit singles "Hurt So Good" and "Jack and Diane" sent the album to the top of the charts.
John Mellencamp released a more socially aware ablume, Scarecrow, in 1985, with several songs focusing on the plight of the American family farmer. Soon after, he helped organize Farm Aid with Willie Nelson.
In 1999, John Mellencamp covered his own tunes as well as those by Bob Dylan and the Drifters for his album Rough Harvest. The early 2000's found John Mellencamp teaming up with artists such as Chuck D and India.Arie to deliver a more laid back record with Cuttin' Heads, spawning the single "Peaceful World".
John Mellencamp's sound is cited as a major influence by fellow midwesterners Sheryl Crow, Garth Brooks, Joan Osborne and Kid Rock.
