Maroon 5 is a Grammy Award winning pop band from Los Angeles, California. The group won several awards for their debut album Songs about Jane. Released in June 2002, the album enjoyed major chart success, going gold, platinum, and triple platinum in many countries around the world. The group won the Grammy Award for "Best New Artist" in 2005.
Maroon 5 released their third album, Hands All Over, in 2010. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, and sold over 500,000 copies worldwide. In the summer of 2011, the group will tour all over the U.S. in promotion of the new record.
