Pearl Jam premiered only two singles before the release date of their new self-titled eighth studio album, Pearl Jam. One originally entitled "Crapshoot Rapture" (renamed "Comatose") was premiered live in March 2005; the other, "Gone" debuted in October 2005. Plans to debut additional new material on the 2005 Canadian tour were scrapped.
