The Knife Tickets

The Swedish electronic duo, The Knife, were formed in 1999 when a brother and sister mixed a wide variety of electronic music. They broke onto the international music scene when Jose Gonzalez covered their single titled "Heartbeats" in a Sony commercial. They have released at least four albums together, including their self- titled debut in 2001.

Both performers have released music outside of the work of The Knife. She released a solo album under the name Fever Ray, and he has released several EPs as Oni Ayhun. They collaborated with Mt. Sims and Planningtorock to release a studio version of the music that was commissioned by the dance group Hotel Pro Forma for their opera that was based on Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species.
