Major League Baseball Tickets Continued
The Major League Baseball regular season runs from the beginning of April until late September. The MLB is made up of 30 teams, split between two separate leagues - The American League and the National League. There are 14 Amercian League teams and 16 teams in the National League. Each league is divided into 3 divisions, namely East, Central and West. ShowTime Ticket Services have MLB Baseball tickets for all games.
The majority of regular season games are held between teams in the same league. Adding to the competition, the MLB introduced inter-league play in 1997. This effectively meant that teams from both divisions now play each other during the regular MLB season schedule. Each July, the league takes a short hiatus while the MLB All-Star Game is played.
Winners of this game receive home-field advantage for the World Series. MLB playoff's begin in early October and feature the eight teams that qualify. The MLB World Series is typically held in late October. Don't wait, order your MLB Baseball Tickets today!
