Chris Brown Tickets Continued
Chris Brown got his big break when his local production
team connected him with record labels. He subsequently flew to New
York and auditioned for Def Jam Vice President Tina Davis. She loved
him and he was signed to a major record label.
Chris Brown had to leave school late 2004 to begin the
production for his debut album. The album was released in November
2005 and has since been certified platinum. Chris Brown has
many collaborations on the album including artists such as Scott
Storch, The Underdogs, Dre and Vidal, Bryan Cox, Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri. Chris Brown then came out
with his debut single, "Run It!" which was #1 in the United States as
well as other parts of the world such as Japan and Australia.
Following "Run It!", "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" became Chris
Brown's second top 10 hit in the US, peaking at #7 and #13 in the
UK. It has been certified platinum by the RIAA. His third single
"Gimme That" was released in March 2006. The single debuted on the
U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at #80 and climbed the charts quickly.
Chris Brown's fourth single will be the ballad "Say Goodbye".
His is currently writing songs for his sophomore album, set to
release October 2006, and touring.
Chris Brown is often stated as the next Usher, Michael Jackson or Tevin Campbell. Chris Brown says
that he is honored to be compared to them, but he wants to be
recognized as an individual and be known as himself. He is now hailed
as "The Future of R&B", as it is said on some of the tracks on his
album.
