age/contemporary Christian musician and a nationally syndicated radio
host. John Tesh's most memorable piece as a musician is
arguably "Roundball Rock", the instrumential theme music for The NBA
on NBC from 1990 to 2002. He also scored the background and theme
music for the CBS coverage of the Tour de France.

In addition to his career in music, John Tesh has also been very successful on television. His television career included a stint as a news anchor at WTVF in Nashville, Tennessee in the 1970s, where he was often partnered with Oprah Winfrey. He also hosted the television show Entertainment Tonight from 1986 to 1996.
John Tesh currently has a nationally-syndicated radio show called the John Tesh Radio Show, which plays soft rock music, interspersed with various factoids and other information John Tesh considers useful to listeners, often with topics such as health and well-being.
