Kings of Leon Tickets
Kings of Leon is an acclaimed rock band made up of three brothers and a cousin,
based in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Their influences range from Southern rock and indie to blues
styles.
Kings of Leon is comprised of Nathan Followill (drums, backup vocals), Caleb Followill
(guitar, lead vocals), Jared Followill (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar). The name Kings of
Leon is derived from Nathan, Caleb and Jared's father and grandfather, both named Leon.
The brothers spent much of their youth travelling around the American South with their father, a
traveling Pentecostal preacher. Their latest album, Because of the Times, was released in
April 2007.

Kings of Leon Tickets Continued
Kings of Leon got their start in 2003 with their album Youth and Young Manhood
and rose to relative stardom, especially outside the United States, by being chosen by popular
rock bands The
Strokes and U2 to
tour with them. Standout tracks included the lively "Molly's Chambers" - a title taken from a line in
Thin Lizzy's
"Whiskey In The Jar" - and soulful "California Waiting". The song "Red Morning Light" was used
as the opening song for the videogame FIFA 2004. "Holy Roller Novocaine" was used in the
movie Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.
The second album from Kings of Leon, Aha Shake Heartbreak, was released
in the United Kingdom in October 2004 to widespread acclaim. The album was praised for its mix
of garage rock and Southern swagger. "The Bucket", "Four Kicks" and "King of the Rodeo" have
been released as singles thus far. Aha Shake Heartbreak was released in February 2005
in the United States.
The latest album from Kings of Leon is the June 2006 release, Day Old Belgian
Blues. In 2006, the band played many concert dates including opening for Bob Dylan.
