Jimmy Eat World Tickets
Jimmy Eat World formed in Mesa, Arizona in 1993. Singer and guitarist, Jim Adkins, and drummer Zach Lind, who had been friends since kindergarten, joined forces with guitarist Tom Linton and bass player Mitch Porter to try their hand at music. In its early years, the band emulated the style of their punk-rock influences, and released their debut self-titled album in 1994.
Band members include Jim Adkins, Rick Burch, Zach Lind, and Tom Linton. They had their highest charting album with 2007's Chase the Light, and released its follow-up album, Invented, in 2010.Jimmy Eat World.

Jimmy Eat World's most recent release was an EP entitled Stay On My Side Tonight, released digitally at digital music stores such as iTunes on September 13, 2005. The EP features songs recorded as demos for the Futures album with producer Mark Trombino that were not used on the album, as well as a cover and a remix. The standard CD version was released on October 4th.
After their tour with Green Day, Jimmy Eat World headed home to Tempe to start working on material for a sixth album. Some of the new songs mentioned by drummer Zach Lind on the Jimmy Eat World band blog are "Carry You", "Chase This Light", "Stop", "Beautiful Is", "Dizzy" and "Gotta Be Somebody's Blues".
