Iron Maiden is a heavy metal band from East London. Formed in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris, they are one of the most successful and influential bands in the heavy metal genre, selling over 70 million albums worldwide.
The group released their fifteenth and most recent album, The Final Frontier, in August, 2010. It debuted at number one in the U.K. and sold over forty thousand copies in its first week. The album reached number four on the Billboard 200, their highest charting position ever in the U.S.
